PLEASANT HILLS – Despite going into halftime only down 7-0, Trinity couldn’t keep up with Thomas Jefferson’s offense in the second half. The Jaguars scored four touchdowns in the third quarter to win 35-0 in a Big Nine Conference matchup Friday night.

After Shane Stump connected with Eric Farmin for a 47-yard touchdown before halftime, Justin Figna ran for two touchdowns – a 29-yarder and a 17-yarder – to put Thomas Jefferson (2-0, 2-0) ahead 21-0. Figna totaled 121 yards rushing on 19 carries.

Stump then threw two more touchdowns. The first was a 50-yard strike to Farmin, who caught five passes for 121 yards, for a 50-yard touchdown, and the second was a 38-yard pass to Nick Ourbanowicz.

Stump completed 10 of 19 passes for 188 yards and three touchdowns.
