Unbeaten Union gets jump on Jefferson-Morgan

JEFFERSON – Evan Pinkerton threw two first-quarter touchdown passes, one to Dylan Davisson, who also ran for a score, and Union remained undefeated with a 26-6 victory over Jefferson-Morgan Friday night at Parker Field.

Union (4-0) forged a 14-0 lead in the first quarter and shut out Jefferson-Morgan (1-3) until the final 64 seconds.

Pinkerton threw first-quarter TD passes for 31 and 25 yards, the latter to Davisson, who added a 21-yard scoring run in the second quarter that put the Scotties up 20-0.

Union led 26-0 when Jefferson-Morgan’s D.L. Garrett caught a 46-yard touchdown pass from Colton Davidson with 1:04 remaining.
