Burgettstown keeps on rolling

ELLSWORTH - Nicolas Speer rushed for 115 yards on only eight carries and scored three touchdowns as undefeated Burgettstown rolled to a 49-3 victory over Bentworth in a Class AA Century Conference Friday night.

Speer scored on runs of 4, 25 and 29 yards for the Blue Devils (2-0, 3-0). Ryan Lounder scored on runs of 40 and 15 yards and Seth Phillis and Gage Monette each scored on runs of 54 and 47 yards, respectively.

Levi Jordan had a 23-yard field goal for Bentworth (2-1, 2-2). Shawn Dziak completed 14 of 26 passes for 100 yards.
