Mapletown 4, California 3: Macee Chesney drove in Sara Chory with the winning run in the bottom of the seventh to give Mapletown a 4-3 win over California in Section 1-A.

Chory, who went 2-for-4, tripled before Chesney’s hit. It was Chesney’s fourth hit of the game for the Maples (2-0, 4-0). Taylor Vanata doubled and went 2-for-4, Elisa Clark wen 3-for-3 and Katherine Fox and Kylie Stover each had a double.

Ashley Gush hit a solo home run for California (1-2, 1-3).
