Big 2nd half sends Mt. Lebanon past Canon-McMillan

MT. LEBANON — Mt. Lebanon scored 36 second-half points to pull away for a 43-29 victory over visiting Canon-McMillan in a Class 6A Quad County Conference game Friday night.
The game was tied 7-7 at halftime and Mt. Lebanon (1-0, 1-1) forged a 20-7 lead in the third quarter on a 74-yard run by Drew Vaughn and a 41-yard TD pass from Seth Morgan to Tim Walters.
Canon-McMillan (0-1, 0-1) was bale to close to within 30-22 in the fourth quarter when Blake Joseph caught an 8-yard TD pass from Jon Quinque.
Quinque was 15 of 28 for 210 yards and two scores.
Drew Engel caught eight passes for 115 yards for C-M. Litt Alred caught a touchdown pass.
