JEFFERSON — Chartiers-Houston snapped a 12-game losing streak by erupting for 37 second-half points and drubbing Jefferson-Morgan, 43-12, in a Class A Tri-County South Conference opener Friday night at Parker Field.

Six different players scored for the Bucs (1-0, 1-1) and the defense produced a safety. Tyler Blumen, Seth Dunn, Jimmy Sadler, Sam Dewalt and Jake Piatt each scored for the Bucs in the second half. Nate Cavallo caught a 45-yard pass from Robby Ward in the second quarter.

Jacob Broadwater threw for one touchdown and ran for another for J-M (0-1, 0-2). Jonathan Wolfe had 16 rushes for 101 yards.
