Trinity routs Ambridge, advances to Team Tournament

Trinity High School’s wrestling team used nine pins and lost just one bout in running past host Ambridge, 72-3, in the fifth-place match of the Section 4-AAA Team Tournament Tuesday night.

Leading the pin parade were Justin Walters (106), A.D. Nelson (120), Dan Boardley (126), Dante Cecchine (152), Cole Whitmer (160), Chet Locy (170), Xane stock (182), Jared rice (195) and Regis Seng (220).

Trinity advances to next week’s WPIAL Team Tournament. Pairings will be released Thursday.
