The Miami Dolphins announced Wednesday that they have tendered three exclusive rights free agents, including linebacker Mike Hull, a Canonsburg native.

Hull reportedly will get a salary increase to $1.9 million for the 2018 season.

Hull has played three seasons (2015-17) in Miami, where he signed in May of 2015 as an undrafted free agent out of Penn State. Hull has played in 35 career games, including the last 33 in a row, with four starts. He has career totals of 42 tackles (27 solo), one interception, one pass defensed, one fumble recovery and 27 special-teams tackles.

A four-year letterman at Penn State, Hull earned All-America honors as a senior and finished his career sixth on the Nittany Lions’ all-time career tackles list with 294.
