Who to watch: South Fayette wide receiver Mike Trimbur has been the go-to receiver for the Lions’ offense. He has at least one touchdown in eight straight games and 14 for the year. Trimbur, who orally committed to Cornell, has 41 receptions for 809 yards, averaging 19.7 yards per reception. For Greensburg Salem, the defensive line created some havoc in the South Fayette backfield when they played in a non-conference game earlier in the season. Greensburg Salem sacked South Fayette quarterback Jamie Diven four times.

Noteworthy: The offensive line for South Fayette has continued to improve and protect Diven, the first-year starting quarterback. Over the last five games, Diven has not been sacked. He has completed 126 of 203 passes for 2,373 yards and 35 touchdowns. … In South Fayette’s 51-28 victory over Greensburg Salem in Week 3, the Lions jumped out to a 21-0 lead in the first quarter. Andrew Franklin and RayQuin Glover combined for 208 rushing yards.
