Bentworth blanked by Leechburg

ELLSWORTH — Jake Blumer scored twice to help Leechburg shut out Bentworth, 28-0, in a nonconference game Friday night.

Blumer had a 7-yard scoring run and returned an interception 42 yards for another TD for Leechburg (4-5). Bret Kardos rushed for 158 yards and a TD. 

Owen Petrisek rushed 10 times for 70 yards for Bentworth (4-5). Trent Cavanaugh rushed 18 times for 66 yards and now has 1,020 yards on the season.
