Swartz sets school record in Wash High rout
Washington’s Zack Swartz completed nine of 10 passes for 190 yard and two touchdowns, setting the school career passing TD record, during a 55-0 rout of Brownsville in a Class AA Interstate Conference game Friday night at Wash High Stadium.
Wash High is 1-1 in the conference, 3-1 overall. Brownsville is 0-2 and 0-3.
Swartz now has 40 career TD passes, one more than Justin Gregula, who graduated in 2001.
Dan Walker caught both touchdown passes, one from 36 and the other from 34. Swartz also rushed six times for 128 yards and scored twice. Walker had five catches for 112 yards.
