Pascoe runs for 256 yards, 4 scores in Belle Vernon rout

BELLE VERNON — Mason Pascoe rushed for 256 yards on 19 carries and scored four touchdowns as Belle Vernon cruised to a 48-14 victory over visiting Greensburg Salem in a penalty-filled Class 4A Big Eight Conference game.

Pascoe scored on runs of 48, 70, six and 48 yards, all in the first half, when Belle Vernon (3-1, 4-1) forged a 35-7 lead.

The teams combined for 30 penalties and 290 yards penalty yards.

Greensburg Salem slipped to 2-1 in the conference and 2-4 overall.
