Joliet edges Wild Things

The Joliet Slammers held off an eighth-inning rally and came away with a 5-4 victory over the Washington Wild Things Tuesday night in a Frontier League game.

Joliet took a 5-0 lead into the eighth and used three pitchers to fend off the rally.

Harrison Bragg had two hits and two RBI for Joliet.

Ryan Cox had an RBI double in the eighth. JJ Fernandez and Shaine Hughes each had two hits and scored a run for the Wild Things.
