Defense dominates for Burgettstown

BURGETTSTOWN — Cyle Conley scored three rushing touchdowns and Burgettstown’s defense was overwhelming in a 42-0 victory over Fort Cherry in a Three Rivers Conference game Friday night.

Conley scored on runs of 48, 1 and 1 yards for the Blue Devils (2-0, 2-0). Jake Lounder and Shane Kemper also had rushing touchdowns to help BHS to a 28-0 lead at halftime.

Conley had 106 yards on 11 carries. Cole Shergi had an interception. Burgettstown held FC to 36 total yards.
