Girls soccer MVP, Hannah Stuck, Peters Township
Versatility is what stuck out about Hannah Stuck.
Whether in the classroom or on the soccer pitch, Stuck got the job done. The Peters Township senior became only the second player in the history of Peters Township’s highly successful girls soccer program to be named to the United Soccer Coaches All-America team, along with being selected to the All-East Region team.
A Bucknell University recruit, Stuck also received all-state and All-WPIAL honors for a season in which she scored 24 goals and had 20 assists while helping Peters Township make the WPIAL Class 4A semifinals. Versatile enough to score against the top teams in the WPIAL’s deepest section, Stuck also was a standout defensively. Stuck, who carries a 4.8 grade-point average in the classrom, was a two-time all-state player.
She scored 89 career goals, had 68 assists and was a four-time all-WPIAL, all-section and all-Big 56 selection. Stuck led the Indians in scoring in her freshman, sophomore and senior seasons and led PT in assists all four years.
