Martin helps Belle Vernon remain unbeaten

WEST MIFFLIN — Quintin rushed for 190 yards and scored three touchdowns as Belle Vernon rolled to a 49-3 victory over West Mifflin in the Big Eight Conference opener for both teams Friday night.

Martin scored on runs of 7, 84, and 34 yards.

Quarterback Devin Whitlock completed 11 of 14 passes for 177 yards and two touchdowns for BV (3-0). Evan Pohlot caught 7 passes for 93 yards.

West Mifflin fell to 1-3.
