Lamonde helps South Fayette end skid

McDONALD — Nico Lamonde passed for two touchdowns and ran for another as South Fayette stopped a four-game slide with a 24-13 win over Plum in a non-conference game.

Lamonde threw TD passes of nine yards to Michael Gimigliano and four yards to Nate Deanes. He capped the Lions’ scoring with a three-yard TD run in the fourth quarter that put South Fayette up 24-7.

Lamonde completed 22 of 29 passes for 276 yards. The Lions were held to only 32 rushing yards.

Tyler Nicholson booted a 41-yard field goal for South Fayette (3-4).
