Dehoet scores 4 TDs in Jefferson-Morgan win
JEFFERSON — Wide receiver Deakyn Dehoet caught three touchdown passes and also returned a kickoff for a score, sparking Jefferson-Morgan to a 46-12 victory over Monessen at Parker Field on Friday night.
Dehoet caught scoring passes of 68 and 25 yards from Houston Guesman in the first half, then took a wide receiver screen pass 80 yards for a touchdown in the third quarter. Dehoet caught six passes for 192 yards.
Dehoet returned the second-half kickoff 78 yards for a touchdown that gave Jefferson-Morgan (4-1, 5-3) a 30-12 lead.
Guesman, who was 8-for-8 passing for 206 yards and three scores, had a seven-yard TD run in the first quarter. John Woodward added a six-yard touchdown burst in the fourth quarter.
Both touchdowns by Monessen (1-4, 2-6) came on kickoff returns. Tim Kershaw returned one 86 yards for a score in the first quarter and Tyvaughn Kershaw had an 83-yard return in the second quarter.
J-M’s Collin Bisciglia rushed for 107 yards on 13 carries.
