Davis leads Brentwood past Charleroi

BRENTWOOD — Cedric Davis passed for four touchdowns and ran for another, sparking Brentwood to a 44-15 victory over Charleroi on Friday in the Class 2A Century Conference.

Davis completed only eight passes, but they included TDs of 24, 34, 47 and nine yards. He also had a seven-yard TD run. Davis was 8-for-11 for 179 yards as Brentwood improved to 2-3 in the conference and 2-7 overall.

Charleroi (0-5, 0-8), which led 7-0 in the first quarter, had a five-yard touchdown run by Gianni Pellegrini and a nine-yard TD pass from Zayden Ransaw to Dan Nusida.
