Morgan scores 14 in Hillers’ win over Albert Gallatin

Ruby Morgan scored 14 points to help lead Trinity to a 64-29 non-section victory over Albert Gallatin at the home of the Hillers on Saturday afternoon.
Teammate Sutton Williamson added 10 points for the Hillers (15-5).
The Colonials’ Mya Glisan scored 10 points.
Charleroi 69, West Greene 46:
Bella Carroto discord 21 points in the Cougars’ 69-46 non-section victory over the Pioneers on Friday night.
Charleroi had a 28-15 lead after the first quarter and never looked back. The Cougars’ Ella Sypolt added 17 points.
West Greene was led in scoring by Kendra Tharp’s 16 points.
Boys basketball:
Washington 37, Mt. Pleasant 36:
The Prexies edged the Vikings, 37-36, in overtime Saturday afternoon in a Class 3A Section 4 contest at Washington.
The two teams were tied at 34 heading into the extra session before Washington (10-1, 13-7) outscored the Vikings, 3-2, for the victory.
The Prexies’ Travis Crutcher scored 11 points.
Connor Pavlocak led the Vikings in scoring with 15 points.
Gateway 73, Belle Vernon 63:
The Leopards’ Zion Moore scored 34 points but the Gators took control in the third quarter for a 73-63 non-section victory.
Gateway (11-6) had a 17-7 edge in the third for a 55-43 lead heading into the final period. Belle Vernon (11-6) had a 20-18 edge in the fourth.
The Leps’ Trevor Kovatch scored 16 points.
Gateway’s Alex Loury had 30 points. Vito Campolo (15) and Bryson Pavlik (12) were in double digits for the Gators.
Waynesburg 58, California 38:
The Raiders had a 14-2 lead after the first quarter and cruised to a 58-38 non-section victory at California.
Waynesburg’s Alex Vansickle scored 19 points. Teammates Austin Surber and Alex Eck put in 12 points apiece.
California’s Hunter Brown scored 10 points.
Geibel Catholic 62, Mapletown 58:
The Gators outscored the Maples by four in overtime to earn their first victory of the season on Friday in Class A Section 2 play at Mapletown.
Geibel’s Gary Tarbuk scored a game-high 24 points and teammate Tommy Kolencik added 22.
The Maples were led in scoring by Jeremiah Mick’s 16. Braden McIntire put in 14.
