The Washington Wild Things have announced that two players from last season, center fielder Robert Chayka and pitcher Matt Dallas, have signed a contract extension for 2024.

Chayka was one of the top rookies in the league last season when he batted .293 with 17 doubles, two triples and six home runs. He also stole 23 stolen bases.

Dallas, who pitched at the University of Oregon, made his pro debut with Washington and appeared in 11 games, covering 13.1 innings.
