The Washington Wild Things made a series of roster moves Wednesday ahead of their season opener Friday against Schaumburg.

The Wild Things placed two players, utilityman Daniel Harris and infielder Jalen Miller, on the 14-day disabled list. They also released pitcher Zach Grace, outfielder Briley Knight and catcher Raul Ortega, and placed pitchers Yeury Gervacio and Edwar Polimar on the suspended list.

Washington received second baseman Evan Berkey from Ottawa to complete an earlier trade, and signed outfielder Quincy Latimore. For the 35-year-old Latimore, it is his second stint with the Wild Things. The former Pittsburgh Pirates prospect played with Washington in 2013.
