Jim and Sue Wood of Waynesburg will celebrate their golden wedding anniversary with an open house for family and friends from 2 to 5 p.m. Sunday, November 4, at Bethlehem Baptist Church, Ruff Creek, hosted by their children and their families. It is requested that gifts be omitted. Mr. and Mrs. Wood were married November 3, 1962, in Amity United Methodist Church. They have five children, Marian (Doug) Snee of Waynesburg, Marty (Mark) Poach of Washington, Marge (Dirk) Cole, Missy (Rick) Koratich and Jimmy (Jaime) Wood, all of Waynesburg. Their grandchildren are Ryan and Erica Snee, Michael and Melissa Poach, Ashley and Nathan Cole, Stephen, Zachary and Rachel Koratich andPreston and Ava Wood. Mr. Wood is retired from Peoples Natural Gas and is a driver for Sam Fox Bus. Both enjoy golfing, bowling and spending time with their grandchildren.
