Animal cruelty: State police investigated a case of animal cruelty that occurred Wednesday. Pam McKendrel, of Avella, reported that someone shot or cut her cat’s neck.
Property damaged: Equipment owned by two out-of-town companies was found damaged at Bethel Church Road and Farmer’s Lane Saturday. State police said a Caterpillar compact loader belonging to Eastern Loop Sand Co. of Hollidaysburg was used to damage a silt sock barrier. Also, a diesel tank owned by Western Construction Inc. of Prestonsburg, Ky., was damaged by someone striking its dispensing nozzle with an unknown object. Car wreck: Lesley A. Victoria, 50, of Washington, was injured when she lost control of her car on S Bridge Road Saturday afternoon and struck a guardrail. State police said her car then flipped onto its side.
