Newton Consulting, LLC, Claysville, a leading provider of business strategy, information technology and human resource management consulting services, has announced the following recent hires: Jeff Corsello of Wexford, has joined the ERP practice as a senior consultant. He has more than 20 years of experience specializing in Oracle E-Business Suite implementations, and previously worked at GSI Transcomm (now Sage Adonix), Oracle Corp., and Tier 1 Inc. Carol Long of Pittsburgh has joined the Application Support practice as a senior consultant. She has extensive utility industry experience working with Ventyx (formerly Indus) enterprise asset management software. She previously worked at NextEra Energy, BearingPoint, CDI, and iGate Mastech, and has more than 24 years of experience designing, developing, implementing and supporting application systems. Geanie Tilley of Broken Arrow, Okla., has joined the Application Support practice as a senior consultant. She has more than 30 years of experience implementing and supporting mainframe and EDI applications and previously worked at MCI WorldCom, ClubCorp, IBM, Citgo Petroleum and Williams Oil and Gas. Steven Rodgers, of Naperville, Ill., joins Newton Consulting as the company’s Operations Strategy Practice Lead, serving end-to-end supply chain operations with strategy, operational best practices, and project management services. Rodgers has over 23 years of experience leading global supply chain operations, technology integration, and business development. He previously worked for Sloan Valve Company, Fortune Brands, EPI, Inc., Waterstone, Ernst & Young, LLP, and Philips Electronics. The Audia Group of Washington, has received an award from the Employer Support of the Reserve and Guard, a Department of Defense agency, in recognition of its support of its National Guard and reserve employees. Audia, which includes Washington Penn Plastic in Chartiers Township, received the 2012 Secretary of Defense Employer Support Freedom Award for its Uniform Color Co., a plastic colorant producer in Holland, Mich. The Freedom Award is the highest recognition given by the Department of Defense to employers. Dr. Jamie L. McConaha of Peters Township, associate professor of pharmacy practice at Duquesne University, has been named the 2012 Distinguished Young Pharmacist of the Year in Pennsylvania by Pharmacists Mutual Companies. She received the honor at the recent meeting of the Pennsylvania Pharmacists Association in recognition of her outstanding contributions in state pharmacy association activities, community affairs and professional practice. McConaha, who received her pharmacy doctorate from Duquesne in 2007, joined the school of pharmacy faculty in 2009. She is director of the Duquesne University Mylan School of Pharmacy/Giant Eagle Pharmacy Community Practice Residency program at Giant Eagle pharmacies in Wexford, Bethel Park and McMurray, She also works with patients to improve health outcomes and quality of life through disease prevention and disease-state management programs. In addition, she serves as a faculty preceptor for advanced pharmacy practice experience student pharmacists, Duquesne community practice residents and academic and teaching fellows. Megan Faust, an attorney, has joined McClelland Legal Search, formerly Fletcher & McClelland Legal Search. McClelland Legal Search is owned by attorney Dianne McClelland of Washington. It is a legal recruuiting agency with offices in Washington and Pittsburgh, placing attorneys in law firm and in-house positions both locally and nationally. Brian Schill of Upper St. Clair has joined the Peters Township Chamber of Commerce as its new executive director. He replaces Carol Foley who passed away this summer after serving the chamber for the past 25 years.Schill, a retired Lieutenant Colonel, spent 20 years in the U.S. Air Force and served as a pilot with the 171st Air Refueling Wing until his retirement in 2006. He is the immediate past president of the Rotary Club of Upper St Clair – Bethel Park, the public relations director for the Military Affairs Coalition of Western PA and a board member of the Clarion University Alumni Association, the Combined Federal Campaign and the Pittsburgh Region of the Jefferson Awards for Public Service.
