Herbert and Marian Ballas of Meadow Lands will celebrate their golden wedding anniversary with a family dinner and a trip to Lancaster.
Mr. and Mrs. Ballas were married September 15, 1962, in Canonsburg.
They have three children, Kathy Ballas, Patty Smith and Sandy (Glenn) Florian.
Their grandchildren are Matthew and Hilary Florian.
Mr. Ballas retired from Hankinson Corp. after many years of service, and Mrs. Ballas recently retired from UPMC Cancer Center.
