After more than seven decades, Ruth Brown Ross graduated from Bethlehem-Center High School with the Class of 2014 at the age of 92. Ross Dropped out of high school after she married her husband, but it had always been a dream to her diploma. On May 30, Ross received her diploma.

A man tries unsuccessfully to push a vehicle up the hill on North Main Street in Washington as the vehicle continued to slide Monday morning. Shortly after the man gave up two other men jumped out of their vehicle and successfully got the motorist onto West Walnut Street. A snowstorm dumped nearly 5 inches of snow throughout Washington County Monday morning causing many accidents and treacherous road conditions. Most school districts announced a 2 hour delay but with the snow continuing to dump large amounts throughout the morning all but Burgettstown decided to cancel school for the day.
