Washington County Chapter of School Retirees and friends took the O-R along to visit the Grand Tetons, Wyo., Jackson Hole, Wyo., Yellowstone National Park, Mount Rushmore, S.D., and other sites on a 4,600 miles trip west.

The O-R went along to smell the roses at Phipps Conservatory with Rose Mary Kirschner, Linda Kortyna, Eleanore Hunter and Marlene Preat. They have been friends since first grade at Avella schools.

Jim and Maggie Bier, Tom and Janey Turk and "Chick" and Marcie Doerfler took the O-R along on their trip to Italy.

Ed and Mary Lee Rizor of Washington celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary with their family in Walt Disney World, Orlando, Fla.
