While I was in Charlotte, I met some nice young ladies at the airport. I gave them a gift from sisters and friends from Connie Portis.

This is the group of African-American women that I travel to Martha’s Vineyard with every year. If you are interested in going to Martha’s Vineyard, go to www.sisterandfriends.com. Well I just spent my first day in Munich, Germany. I decided to do a city tour, and it was quite inexpensive. Four $59 you can take a bus from the airport, go to the city of Munich, and hop on the bus and tour city.

I saw Olympia Park and the BMW museum.

I met two ladies from Frankfurt Germany, and I gave them something from Niagara Bank – a lid opener – and from Audia Caring Heritage Association a Christian, a bookmark. It was very surprising to see the reaction from these ladies; they were a little hesitant in receiving these gifts. They were expecting me to say this will cost you… But when I told them I wanted to bring a little bit of history from Washington and Allegheny County, they were quite intrigued.

The next people I met was a family with cute little twin girls. This family is from Vienna, Austria. The girls were about four years old and very shy. I gave them a Frisbee from after school buddies. After school buddies is a group of young kids from all over Pittsburgh, and I work with these kids every week. They sing, dance, act, and bring a great message about being a buddy, not a bully.

When I went to take pictures of the two little girls, they were a little shy. But when they got off the bus, I hopped off the bus, ran after them, and took a picture of them anyhow.

The last person I met was a lady from Barcelona, Spain. After I talked with her, I knew she also needed aa Audia Caring Christian bookmark. The bookmark is from Philippians 413, and says “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.”

And boy, I need a strength today because I have no clue what time it is there or here??? a

All I know is that I’m on my way to Johannesburg. I will attempt to upload some pictures and keep it coming…
