I just took the most luxurious bath. While I was bathing the thought crossed my mind of how God cleans us up and rids us of all sins (dirt) and starts us clean and new, time after time. He sent His Son to die on the Cross so that we can just mention His name and get a good “cleaning up” and living life like it’s golden… Holy.

It’s that easy. Living holy is doing God’s Will and not ours. I am not happy to admit it but every day I have been learning how to “kill” the old man the way that we are expected to.

Sure, we stop doing the things that we did while we were in the world to apoint of struggle in some areas but do we really give it all up? When my mind tells me to do something that my heart hasn’t felt yet, I put it on the back burner until I hear from God. He owns my heart and when my heart calls out to me, I know that it’s His Rhema Word allowing me to do what was planted in my spirit to do. We have to be careful not to go ahead of the Holy Spirit. God with Him, not ahead of Him. He is our teacher, we are not to attempt to teach Him.

My skin is clean, my hair is clean, my toes are clean, the best part… my heart is clean.

Lord let me always cut myself short in order to do your will. Cutting myself short will not harm me as long as you take the reins.
