Erica Jestat-Garrison spotted this masked bandit, who got too greedy and became stuck in a bird feeder. She says she helped the raccoon get out by carefully removing the roof of the feeder. The "intruder" let her snap a couple of photos before moving on.

Bob Sten sent us this photo of a sign that once hung in a pool hall called My Buddy's Place on North Main Street in Washington. The hall was owned by Johnnie Sliman, who traveled and hustled pool under the name Johnny Midnight. The poolroom opened in the mid-1950s and closed in the mid-1970s.
