Bill and Chee Chee Mull took the O-R along on vacation to Rosine, Ky., to visit the boyhood home of the father of bluegrass, Bill Monroe.

Vietnam veteran Bill Riggle of West Finley Township took the O-R along with his extended family to Norfolk, Va., for a tour of the USS Iwo Jima. The LHD-7 carrier replaced the original USS Iwo Jima LPH-2 that transported Bill with the 3/26 Marines unit to Vietnam in 1966. Touring with Bill are his daughter Jennifer Makel, granddaughters Emily and Kayla Brownlee, Serena Makel and wife Donna. Not pictured are his sister Rose Riggle and sister-in-law Pat Huston.

Natalie Tissot of McMurray took the O-R along in August while traveling on the Snake and Columbia rivers in Washington and Oregon on The American Empress, a diesel-powered paddle-wheeler. The river cruise followed the journey of Lewis & Clark from the Snake River to the Pacific Ocean.

Childhood friends since 1947, Fran Kovacic Lazek, Donna Veltri Conkle, Fran Kolycheck Davis and Kathy Marra Mondock spent a week at The Ritz-Carlton in Saint Thomas, U.S. Virgin Islands. They took the O-R along while they shopped and relaxed.
