The WPIAL’s winter sports season officially begins Monday and its time to look ahead to basketball. Though South Fayette’s boys basketball will be a bit shorthanded for the third consecutive year, every other local team will be ready to prepare for a run at the Petersen Events Center.
Plenty of talented players have graduated, there was a big merger between two schools and there have been a few transfers, so here’s a way too early look at the balance of power across the WPIAL.
