Thomas-Eighty Four Road to close

A section of Thomas-Eighty Four Road will be closed at the intersection of Route 519, Brownlee Road and Thomas-Eighty Four Road in North Strabane Township beginning at 7 a.m. Sept. 14 and continuing until 6 p.m. Sept. 29, the state Department of Transportation announced.
The closure will be in place to allow for the realignment of Thomas-Eighty Four Road.
A posted detour will be in place, utilizing Route 519, Wilson Road and Linden Road. The contractor on this $5.12 million project is Allison Park Contracting.
