Jim and Dottie Simpson, Jim and Elaine Reding and Bill and Jean Beam took the O-R along in August to Edinburgh Castle in Scotland for the Royal Edinburgh Military Tattoo.

Stush and Madolyn Horency of Washington took a trip by train in August for their 45th wedding anniversary through the Canadian Rockies. They are pictured on a glacier at Columbia Icefield.

John and Jean McCullough of Claysville took the O-R along to Rehoboth Beach, Del., to celebrate their 57th wedding anniversary.

Joe and Sara Jack of Washington took the O-R along August 31 to Moundsville, W.Va., to watch the USS LST 325 on its way from Evansville, Ind., up the Ohio River to Pittsburgh.

Hailey, Kailyn and Aiden Jasso of Washington took the O-R along to visit cousins Riker and Beckam Hemp of Ocean City, Md. Their parents, and cousins, are Stephanie Jasso and Julie DeWitt Hemp, formerly of Canonsburg.

A few Marines and their families took the O-R along to Parris Island, S.C. From left are, Carol Chadwick, Sue and Gene Rasel, Bo and David Pryor and Donna Dohanich. They arrived by bus with the Mon Valley Leathernecks and toured the base and attended a Marine graduation. Gene and Bo are both graduates of Parris Island, one in 1959 and one in 1952.

Ronald M. Bell and Judith A. Dicks took the O-R along while visiting Sugarlands Visitor Center in Gatlinburg, Tenn.

Karen Sirianni and Tony Battistone of Bentleyville took the O-R along while vacationing at Presque Isle, Erie.

Everett and Shirley Kelley of Avella, Bob and Evalyn Sibert of Montgomery, Ala., Bill Kelley of Washington and Louise King of Avella took the O-R along while spending a week in Shipshewana, Ind.

Dave McClay, Bob Ricker, Alvin Rogers, Bob Frazer and Bob Matthews took the O-R along on a canoe trip from the Kinzua Dam down the Allegheny River to East Brady. It was a five day, 130 river mile vacation.

Larry and Nancy Scears took the O-R along while celebrating their 44th wedding anniversary in the Smoky Mountains of Gatlinburg, Tenn.

Tracy, Jackie and Sierra Kotchman and Jean Hoffman of Washington had a vacation reunion with their British relatives, the Hawes family of Ipswich, England, in September at Walt Disney World.

Susan Bayard, Sally Bayard Menges, Randy Bayard and Rebecca Bayard Davis and their families spent a week together at Topsail Island, N.C.

Dave and Terri Luketich took the O-R along while celebrating 27 years of marriage riding motorcycles through Wyoming and Montana national parks.

Amanda and Andy Moore took the O-R along while on their honeymoon at Dreams Sugar Bay Resort and Spa in St. Thomas, Virgin Islands.

Members of the Washington Force 10 and under soccer team took the O-R along on their trip to Pittsburgh to participate in the Pittsburgh Riverhounds Youth Experience. As part of the program, each player got to escort a Riverhounds player onto the field during introductions of the game against Louisville City, be a ball boy on the field and play a halftime exhibit game against South Park. Diana O'Brien and Mimi Brittner took the O-R along while visiting the home of Diana's son Levi Curtis and wife Kristi, after bringing home their newborn baby boy Wyatt in Camp Pendleton, Calif.
