Kevin Kelley, 53, of Washington, died Thursday, November 2, 2017, in Washington Hospital, after a lengthy battle with heart disease.
He was born November 25, 1963, a son of the late Robert W. Kelley Sr. and Clara Grace Dillard Kelley.
Mr. Kelley was a 1982 graduate of Trinity High School.
He was a former member of New Hope Baptist Church, where he sang in the Children’s Choir.
Mr. Kelley worked for MAC Plastics and All-Clad Metal.
He liked softball and was an avid Steelers fan. He was also known for helping other people.
On April 25, 2012, in Washington, he married Corrina Moore, who survives.
Also surviving are two children, Dirk Barfield of New Hampshire and Nicole Barfield of Washington; three brothers, John H. (Dawn) Kelley of Gaithersburg, Md., Charles D. (Sherry) Kelley of Washington and Joseph William (Beth Ann) Kelley of Denver, Colo.; two sisters, Pam Kelley of Washington and Robin Booker of Monroeville; four grandchildren, Audriana, Amaya, Kamorah and Ky’Moni Barfield; and several nieces and nephews.
Deceased are a brother, Robert W. Kelley Jr. and two sisters, Carol J. Russell and Karen R. Kelley.
Friends will be received from 1 to 3 and 6 to 8 p.m, the time of service, Sunday, November 5, in Piatt and Barnhill Funeral Home, 420 Locust Avenue, Washington, with the Rev. Lance B. Whitlock officiating. All other services will be private. The family suggests memorial contributions to the charity of one’s choice.
