Claysville United Presbyterian Church, 134 Wayne St., will hold a lasagna dinner from 4 to 7 p.m. today. A goodwill offering will be accepted. Take out is available by calling 724-663-7632.

The St. Vincent de Paul-sponsored Food Bank will be held from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.today at the First United Methodist Church, 215 Church St., Brownsville. Food can be picked up at that time. New clients are welcome to register. The next food bank date is Dec. 20.

The NAACP will sponsor a job fair from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Friday at Lemoyne Multi-Cultural Community Center, 200 Forrest Ave., Washington.

Help is needed to unload and distribute food for the Food Bank at 8:30 a.m. Friday at Calvin U.P. Church, 307 Spring St., Brownsville. The food distribution begins at 10 a.m. The next date is Dec. 16.

The Waynesburg University’s Chamber Orchestra and Jazz Ensemble will perform at 7:30 p.m. Friday with an “Out of This World” concert that will include themes from “Star Wars,” “Star Trek,” “Halo,” “Doctor Who” and other selections related to space and space travel. Other space-inspired music from composers also will be featured at the concert, such as “Rocket Man” by Elton John and “Jupiter” from The Planets. Coldwell Banker Real Estate Services Charity Benefits will host a night of comedy Saturday at Slapsticks Comedy Club at The Crowne Plaza Hotel & Suites Pittsburgh South, 164 Fort Couch Road, Bethel Park. The event benefits Make-A-Wish Greater Pennsylvania and West Virginia. Doors opens at 7 p.m. and the show starts at 8 p.m. The show features Tom Anzalone, Terry Jones and Lisa Dapprich, former host of WPXI “Date Night TV.” Tickets for the show, which is for ages 21 and over, are $20. A Christmas vendor show featuring 30 vendors will be held from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday and Sunday at 402 Main St., New Eagle. Food will be available for purchase.

A Holiday Vendor and Craft Show will be held from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday at Frank Sarris Public Library, 35 N. Jefferson Ave., Canonsburg. There will be more than 50 local vendors and crafters, and refreshments will be available.
