Tanner Johnson of Venetia had a hole-in-one Thursday at Nemcaolin Country Club. Johnson aced the 167-yard No. 16 hole by using a 9-iron. It was the third career hole-in-one for Johnson. Johnson’s playing partners were his brother, Parker Johnson, Hunter Bruce and J.W. Cunningham.
• Beverely Allridge of Venetia had a hole-in-one Sunday at Southpointe Golf Club. She aced the 83-yard No. 12 hole by using a 9-iron. The witness was Susan Gaeish.
