Sharon Coben – 300 presents I belong to Cameron Wellness Center in workout group, woman in my group said can I talk to you, she told me her work at the Lemoyne Center, she told me about kids who don’t live with families, they’re on kinship care, parents have opioid addiction, they have a christmas dinner, I said what do these kids get for christmas, she said we don’t have the resources. Go to the director, have every kid write down their name, age, what they like to do and 3 things they like to do for chirstmas, and i’ll see if i can get 101 people to get those gifts, they’re at least getting 2 boxes, i have 300 presents, i called my friends, i used to teach in slippery rock, got gifts from all over, terminix guy was over, he said call box they took 55 boxes, i did buy quite a few, some were generous, overly generous, another friend of mine we had wrapping days, i have over 300 wrapped gifts in my basement, a lot came in in bags and gift bags, kids like to open boxes, dicks gave me boxes, U-Haul donated a truck and a driver, i’l have a crew to load up, unpack, 11 a.m. Thursday , i’m putting presents in boxes so they don’t get wrecked, Santa will be there, we’ll get there at 11, at 4 the kids will come and eat, there will be christmas music, and  

There are 101 children, they go and do their homework , they have to do homework for an hour and then they can play and then they stay there are their caretaker picks it up, 

I’ve done this kind of stuff throughout my life, professor for 27 years and a teacher, i’ve done when my kids were growing up box of socks for the homeless, we’d collect between 200-400 paris of socks, i found out a family without money and 7 kids, i just like to do this, it’s fun, I was a special ed professor at SRU, resigned from position to spend time with kids, It’s thursday at 4 p.m., unpacking boxes, talked.  412-726-9877 

How this came about – mary tauffer who works at Cameron Wellness, works out with me, what do these kids get for christmas, we don’t have resources to do this, have evey kid fill out a form with name, age, 3 things they like, 2 days later i called friends, family, business i go to, nail salon, termini of Bridgeville took 50 kids, went to pt. breeze, mt. lebanon, mt. lebanon, went to u-haul, they donated truck and driver, if . If you mentioned termini and u  haul and rite aid of washingotn,  Envy Nail salon, Truck’s gonna get here, all organized 8-under, 9-12, mrs. claus, 

I feel like every kid, everyone, every kids especially should get a gift for christms, every kid is getting one gift, clothes, nike hoodies, LOL surprise dolls and slime kits, D-Day army soldiers, another wanted a scooter, nail polish and nail dryer, the person who got her that got everything. Necklaces and makeup, basketballs and footballs, never had so many in my house Nerf guns, they’re all getting at least one. one boy want da sweat suit, Stored and wrapped, they looked at the form, they picked it themselves. Started end of octboer, beginning of Nov. had a lot of gifts
