The Washington corps of the Salvation Army, located at 60 E. Maiden Street, will hold its monthly rummage sale Tuesday. Doors open at 9 a.m., with the bag sale beginning at noon.
Maternal Mental Health (MMH) will sponsor a Car Cruise, MMH Walk and Family Fun Day Saturday on Main Street in Southpointe, Cecil Township. Registration is from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. The car cruise will be held from noon to 3. There will be a disc jockey, dash plaques, trophies, door prizes, vendors and children’s activities. A chicken ‘n biscuits dinner will be held from noon to 7 p.m. Saturday at Chartiers Cross Roads Church, 502 Old Hickory Ridge Road, Washington. The menu includes chicken and biscuits, green beans, mashed potatoes, coleslaw, dessert and a drink. Cost is $10 for adults and $5 for children. Adult take-outs only will be available. There will be a Chinese auction.

Reservation information has been revised for the Lenzner bus trip on Oct. 12 to Mountain Playhouse in Jennerstown, hosted by Active Christian Seniors of Canonsburg U.P. Church.
