GOLF OUTING
The Third Annual Swinging for Sam and Emily Golf Outing will be held at Cedarbrook Golf Course in Belle Vernon on Friday, July 26. Along with golf, there will be a dinner, auctions and corporate sponsorship options. All funds raised through the event will go directly to the A-T Children’s Project (ATCP).
Five years ago, Sam and Emily Osleger were diagnosed with the genetic disorder Ataxia-Telangiectasia (A-T). This progressive, degenerative neurological disorder is unrelenting in the way it affects a multitude of body systems. Because A-T is so rare, there is not much research data on it, and it remains incurable.
As a nonprofit organization, the A-T Children’s Project needs donations to help reach their ultimate goal: find a cure for A-T. The ATCP has been instrumental in assisting families and helping them fund necessary biomedical research.
The cost is $400 per foursome by July 19 or $440 after July 20. Cost for dinner only is $25. Play begins at 10 a.m.
