A Brownsville man was indicted by a federal grand jury in Pittsburgh for allegedly producing and possessing child pornography, according to U.S. Attorney Scott W. Brady.
The eight-count indictment returned Wednesday names Sean Houston, 47, for allegedly producing or attempting to produce material that shows sexual exploitation of a minor through pictures and video on multiple dates spanning Dec. 23, 2015 to October 2018. Houston allegedly had the materials in his possession Oct. 29, said a press release from Brady’s office.
If convicted, Houston could face a maximum sentence of life in prison, a $2 million fine or both. The sentence would be based on the severity of the alleged crime and any prior criminal history, the release said.
Homeland Security Investigations, the Washington County District Attorney’s Office and Centerville and North Strabane police departments completed the investigation.
