CANTON

Seven arrested: Four women and three men were arrested at a Buena Vista Street residence around 11 p.m. Tuesday. According to state police, two troopers entered the home as a follow-up to an auto crash and found drugs and drug-related items in the garage. PSP said the scene was secured, other units were called, and search warrants were prepared for the residence and for bank information. They said they seized four firearms (two confirmed to be stolen), about 40 pounds of marijuana, $6,000 in currency and drug paraphernalia. PSP did not provide names, but reported that six of the seven accused are 51 and older; two men and two women are from Washington; a man and a woman are from Scenery Hill; and the other woman is from Claysville. Police also listed two victims: a man, 69, from Harrisburg, and a man, 86, from Annville.  

DONEGAL

Driver hurt hitting deer: David L. Williams Sr., 91, of Claysville, was transported to Washington Hospital with a suspected minor injury after striking a deer with his car shortly after midnight Saturday on Interstate 70 eastbound. State police said the crash occurred at mile marker 1.2, resulting in disabling damage to the vehicle and the death of the deer, which ran into that lane of traffic. Police said Williams was able to move the vehicle onto the berm. Washington Ambulance & Chair transported the driver.

WASHINGTON COUNTY

Outstanding warrants: State police at the Washington County barracks reported Thursday that outstanding warrants are out for three men and one woman. Police identified the individuals by name, age, gender and charges, but not hometown: Michael Wray Lank Jr., 23, forgery; Christopher T. Bunnell, 31, possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance and firearms; Devin Lee Plymire, 20, indecent assault; and Jennifer Demott, 36, possession of a controlled substance. Anyone with information on any of these four is asked to contact Trooper Michael Piscitelli at 724-223-5200.
