W&J releases football schedule
Washington & Jefferson released Wednesday afternoon the dates and times for its 10-game football schedule.
The schedule consists of nine games against Presidents’ Athletic Conference opponents and a nonconference season-opener. W&J will host four games at Cameron Stadium. Four of the first five games will be played on the road.
W&J opens with a challenging road game Sept. 4 at John Carroll. JCU finished the 2019 season with a 9-1 record and suffered its lone defeat against perennial Division III power Mount Union. The Presidents open PAC play a week later at Thiel.
On Sept. 18, the Presidents host Bethany in a 6 p.m. game. W&J follows with back-to-back weeks on the road, at Case Western Reserve Sept. 25 and Geneva Oct. 2.
Saint Vincent travels to Cameron Stadium for homecoming Oct. 9. Kickoff will be 2 p.m.
After an open date, W&J hosts Westminster for Hall of Fame Weekend Oct. 23. The Presidents play Oct. 30 at Grove City and at Carnegie Mellon Nov. 6.
W&J hosts Waynesburg as part of PAC Rivalry Week Nov. 13.
