Officer Renjienico Manday Dana Harris and Officer Jeff Toth they were on a yraffic stop togetheer when they got the call Toith and Manday got there first two on scen manday grabbed medci bag Toth in house officer Toth started doing CPR baby not breathing or crying at that time able to give CPY give oxygen Child bag valve mask before ems did arrive did hear the newborn make  small noise mother cut the unboillical cord continued CPR and give oxygen manday assted ems getting things before leaving newbord had a pulse flwon to Childrne landing zone Mojnds POark officers while on sscene at landing xzone baby lifeflighted to children’s stopped down a month’s ago baby was alive and ewell.

we were on scene of a traffic stop in the city when we got the call knowing the eseveity of the call we automatiicawe imnmdediaterly jumped and headdeed straiugh to thew residence ofd thwhere the medical call was at EMS wasn’;t there yet . me and officer Maday we didn’t have oxygen in our cars we do carry medical bags in the cruisers treating injuries being that EMS wasn;t there yet I’m going to run into the house and at least get staretd on CPR he grabbed his medical bag from the bag the baby wasn’t beathing noi pulse nothing so I immediately started CPR on the baby waiting for OM to get upstairs so we could hokup some kind of oxygen or at nleast get the baby breathing. Once EMS goit there 

heard the baby make a little small noise before EMS got there mid wife cut umbillical cord once we heard a ligttle noise to the baby gave some sort of positive feel makde it feel a little bit better. EMS got there 

 I was still administering CPR on the baby while they got set uop with their oxygen while they got 

we had a lot of hands on deck that day the room was filled with people.

Iit was nice to have a lot of people there that day room was filled wit people kept hearing more noiseds ems doing their things we wEMS made decision made to get a helicopter in th air baby going 

we hlped out with that gave baby excort up the hill to the ballfiuled where they flew it out of. At the time we didn’t know what was goint o happen. we were koind of still iup in the air hoping the last we heard was told us baby had somehwt of a poulse at least ina good condition take her to pittsburgh.

we had that 

a coupoe days later we heard the baby was actually alove and dpoing well 

That felt amazing I can say I beleikve that day the baby was still alive my other two partners where on shift together we had a good shift together that day. It just felt really good it felt amazing to know oine life was stoopped at one pojt in time and we were able to bring that life back joefully she growns and continues her life anytime you’re able toi bring oine back, it feels good 

any that defihjitelt meant something more special mom and the dad and ther baby have come down to the station we’ve been doewn to the house they’ve been down here we’ve gpone theiur check in and 

we told her the parents heyou wlays have some friend in the polciedepat they said we can always come up
