INDEPENDENCE MIDDLE SCHOOL
The Hayes Design Group is currently designing and providing the construction documents to reconfigure Independence Middle School in Bethel Park School District to include Sixth Grade in addition to the Seventh and Eighth Grade students already occupying the building. The renovations include an entire renovation area of the building to include a separate sixth grade wing, a new administration suite, a secured vestibule, a new world language wing, and accessibility improvements throughout. Along with the programmatic improvements, the entire building is receiving upgraded mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems as well as all new finishes to improve the overall quality of the spaces both aesthetically and acoustically.
