Due to circumstances beyond anyone’s control – the CAHS, Inc. has been notified, …. and the Society Board of Directors are now notifying the Charleroi Area-community-at-large, …. that the site where the Society has been able to store its archival items/docs/pictures and etc. – will no longer be available to be utilized in the near future – this year (2023), as it has been very graciously provided …. by the site owners, (and accumulated with dedicated volunteer efforts over the many years of the Charleroi Society) – since the contents of the archives were moved from the library, about a decade ago.
The CAHS, Inc. does not have the funds, nor another site, wherein to continue any moving of this large accumulation of archival items for the community, nor continue the guardianship thereof further, unless the needful support to do so is made readily available asap.
If no support is forthcoming, then the last resort for the CAHS, Inc. will be to contact the IRS for further counsel and action to resolve this.
