MVAA chosen for Pittsburgh Foundation’s Wish Book

Mon Valley Academy for the Arts (MVAA) has been selected for inclusion in The Pittsburgh Foundation’s 2023 Wish Book.
The Wish Book is distributed to the foundation’s donor community every November and allows for the use of donor-advised funds to make grant requests that support the organizations featured in the book.
The Wish Book’s primary purpose is to raise essential general operating funds for nonprofits, helping them cover staffing, utilities and other critical needs that enable them to fulfill their missions effectively.
Donors contributed $694,000 to benefit 100 Wish Book organizations in 2022.
The Wish Book provides a platform for MVAA and other nonprofits to receive grants of up to $5,000. These grants are pivotal in supporting the ongoing operations and mission fulfillment or organizations like MVAA.
