In Thursday’s story about progress on capping orphaned and abandoned wells, it was stated that the well on Amber Norrid’s property was not on the capping schedule. The state Department of Environmental Protection will begin prepping the ground on her property next week, and the well should be plugged within the next four to five weeks, depending on how quickly prep work is completed.
