Frontier League adds Brockton, Mass.

The Frontier League announced Thursday that it has issued membership for a new team that will play at Campinelli Stadium in Brockton, Mass., beginning with the 2024 season.

The Brockton team will replace the homeless Fronteir League Greys, who played all 96 games on the road the past two seasons. The team will be owned by Brian Kahn, who also holds ownership of the Windy City ThunderBolts.

“We are excited to be adding a tremendous sports market in Brockton and a great facility in Campanelli Stadium to the Frontier League,” deputy commissioner Steve Tahsler said in a release. “Windy City is one of our best regarded operations, and we are confident that the management and staff in Brockton will provide an amazing atmosphere and service to the Brockton community.”
